About Electrical Courses
Our Mission
Electrical Courses Ltd was founded in May 2013 by Neil Phillips. Neil started the business after an enjoyable career as a Lecturer of Electrical Installation in Further Education Colleges. Neil felt there was a lack of training opportunities for Adults in the East Anglia area, who were looking to start a career as an Electrician, so he fulfilled a dream of his by opening Electrical Courses Ltd.
Where are we?
Based in Cambridge but serve the UK
Electrical Courses Ltd is based in Sawston, Cambridgeshire, England but we have customers from all over the UK. Electrical Courses Ltd is a private training centre, specialising in Electrical Installation courses for anyone aspiring to become an Electrician and for already qualified Electricians looking to update or progress in their own skills and knowledge.
What we promise
All of our teaching and assessing staff are time served and fully qualified Electricians, registered with the JIB and are also qualified educational Assessors.
What makes us different?
Our google reviews speak for themselves but we are different to the majority of other Electrical training providers because we can offer every qualification and assessment to take a person from unqualified to qualified, without going to another provider. We are a C&G Approved centre and also an AM2 Approved centre
Meet the team
Neil
Does all the day to day running of the business and maintains the quality assurance to keep in line with our qualification bodies.
Leena
If you call our office, you are more than likely to talk to Leena. She deals with all our course administration, marketing and accounts.
Alan
Manager of the City and Guilds qualifications and also teaches and assesses on all of the courses.
Louis
Our main AM2 Assessor but also ensures that our AM2 Assessment area runs as smooth as possible.
Nigel
Designs, teaches and assesses on the City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 Diploma Courses and maintains the workshops.
Damion
Our work based learning assessor and mainly assesses the Experienced Worker NVQ and 2357 Electrotechnical NVQ.
